Recommended itineraries

The Abruzzo, Lazio and Molise National Park is a place of enchantment, where wild nature reveals itself in forms and colors that are at times unexpected. It is the place that, more than any other, jealously preserves its origins, rejects all that is noisy, and still embraces that ancient bond between man and nature. A journey through this region can be unforgettable from many points of view, but without a doubt, it can help us rediscover a fleeting sense of inner peace.

Numerous hiking trails branch out from Pescasseroli. Among these, we cannot fail to recommend the C2 trail of the Abruzzo, Lazio and Molise National Park, which winds through the Boschi della Difesa and also allows visitors to admire the ArteParco installations.

Also starting from the town center, you can ascend to higher altitudes via trails A1 and A3 of the Park, which lead respectively to the Valle di Terraegna and along the fascinating ridge of Montagna Grande and Terratta.

More relaxing walks can be enjoyed in Val Fondillo via the F2 trail of the Abruzzo, Lazio and Molise National Park, or near the natural amphitheater of Camosciara, with several alternative routes within the same area.

The guides of Wildlife Adventures organize guided excursions throughout the year on foot, by e-bike, and in Canadian canoe. Among these, the most fascinating is undoubtedly the Bearwatching in Abruzzo, an evening itinerary aimed at learning about the Marsican brown bear, with the goal of fostering greater respect for bears and for the territory in which they live.
