Valeria has been deeply connected to her home mountains since childhood. Her curiosity led her to thoroughly explore the trails and forests of the Park. By listening to the stories of the elders, she learned the importance of local traditions and the need to preserve customs and honor the past. Her love for nature and the Abruzzo mountains became her passion and, within a few years, turned into a profession. Today, she is a nature guide and AMM registered with the Collegio Guide Alpine Abruzzo and an International Mountain Leader (UIMLA), as well as an excellent environmental interpreter. Whenever she can, she fiercely defends the presence of women in the mountain huts we manage.
