Debora D'Agostino

Debora has always been in love with her mountains. Since childhood, she would listen with wonder to the stories her mother and grandmother told about their time spent in Val Canneto and on the Mainarde mountains. Tales of towering beech trees, elusive bears and wolves, and long night crossings stirred her imagination, painting a picture of a rugged, wild life that felt almost like a fairytale.

She moved to Rome to study and earned a degree in

from Sapienza University. However, over time, Debora realized just how fortunate she had been to grow up in Valcomino. City life didn’t fulfill her, and she felt a deep pull back to her beloved valley.

Returning home felt like breathing again. She reconnected with the people and traditions she grew up with and began supporting those working to bring new life and value to the area. While volunteering with the Abruzzo, Lazio, and Molise National Park, her love for the outdoors grew even stronger. This experience inspired her to become a nature guide a role she now embraces with passion and dedication.
