Dates & Prices

An easy itinerary, by which you can ride a panoramic ring route around the lake, passing the characteristic towns of Barrea, Civitella Alfedena and Villetta Barrea. We are in the heart of the Abruzzo, Lazio and Molise National Park, and these towns have maintained their typical features of medieval towns in the Apennines, perfectly integrated in the surrounding natural beauty.

An e-bike is a way to deal with paths which normally would not be doable by everyone, and enjoy the road, the landscape and nature.

Itinerary

Appointment in the centre of Villetta Barrea. Meeting with the guide, presentation of the programme and pickup of the gear. The route brings us to the town of Civitella Alfedena, where we will take a short break, close to the Wolf Centre. A few easy hairpin bends will bring us to the lake, from where we will continue on a dirt road. In the late morning we will reach Barrea, to have a look at the fortified village and the sunset on the lake. The return to Villetta Barrea will be around 1pm, where we will eat an interesting aperitivo at the Vineria Vallis Regia.
