A buzzard flies over a long valley in slow concentric circles. A valley with its forest, its meadows and its steep mountains. A gorgeous itinerary, among the Park’s most famous ones, crosses it: 800 metres of difference in level, from Civitella Alfedena up to the 1952m a.s.l. of the pass of Forca Resuni, which holds many stories and wonders in a sequence of moving sceneries. We are talking about Val di Rose, which takes its name from the wonderful flowerings of the rosehips, giving colour to the low altitude clearings in spring.
