The hike has no technical difficulties, it takes place on mountain trails in wooded areas and meadows with easy climbs and descents.
Describing the charm of this experience is not easy. We will climb with snowshoes the woods of the forest to reach overlooks and enchanting panoramic viewpoints. The brightness of the moon and snow will allow us to walk for a long without using torches. The shadows of beech trees will keep us company, while they are reflected on the bright snow.
Appointment in Passo Godi (Scanno, L’Aquila) in the afternoon and introduction of the guide. We will give you the equipment (snowshoes, ski poles and torches). There will be a short moving by car until the begin of the path; the starry sky will keep us company during this silent walk, often giving us falling stars. A hot infusion and homemade biscuits will make pleasant the breaks to take landscape photographs.
4h of walk · 250 m ascent · 250 m descent
It is white. Like a pem of great purity. It freezes nature and covers it. Making every landscape a painting. It is always changing. Like a piece of calligraphy. For there are ten thousand ways to shape the word snow.
