The presence of the Apennine Chamois in the area of Monte Meta has progressively increased in recent years, it can be considered today as Park’s Chamois central population.
In order to consolidate this settlement, it is of utmost importance to reduce the disturbance caused by the indiscriminate tourist flow. As it has been the case for many other areas, the Park has decided to extend to the area of Monte Meta the discipline of the regulation of the current ow like the areas of Val di Rose – Valle Jannanghera and Monte Amaro.
