A fascinating itinerary in every season, which shows you the Colli Alti of Pescasseroli and the valleys at the bottom of the Monte Marsicano, from which you have a great view on the main peaks of the Altro Sangro area. Even if it’s only a short distance from the town centre, we will have the opportunity to fully immerse ourselves in the wild nature of the National Park.


An e-bike is a way to deal with paths which normally would not be doable by everyone, and enjoy the road, the landscape and nature.

Day 1Pescasseroli's Colli Alti by e-bike

Appointment at our headquarters in Largo Molinari, at 4 pm. Meeting with the guide, presentation of the programme and pickup of the gear. Crossing the town centre, we get to the Colli Bassi of Pescasseroli, to then reach the panoramic area at the bottom of Monte Marsicano, and to watch the sunset from a wonderful natural terrace. We will return to the valley at 8 pm.

Mountain bike

The participants in the group will be no more than 15, together with our tour leader. To offer you the best of the best, we have chosen the Fathom E+ of Giant Bicycles, a great choice for XC (cross country) and singletrack terrain. A lightweight aluminum frame and trail-friendly geometry will help you experience trail riding like never before. The SyncDrive Sport motor delivers smooth, instantaneous power to all types of terrain.

Of course, you are welcome to make different arrangements if you wish. You can use your own mountain bike and participate in the guided activities, paying less. You just need to let us know when you register for a tour.

What to bring

We reccomend you to dress in layers. Hiking shoes, jacket with waterproof and windproof cap, small backpack, water bottle, sunglasses, sun protection cream.

How to reach us

Pescasseroli is the most important village of Abruzzo National Park, the oldest Italian protected area; it has guaranteed a life in harmony with nature for almost a century. You can easily reach it by car through three access points. FROM ROME (Highway A24 Rome – L’Aquila): from Rome highway A24 until Pescina exit, proceed on SR83 or on SP17 until Pescasseroli. FROM PESCARA (Highway A25 Roma – Pescara): from Pescara highway A25 until Pescina exit, go on towards SR83 or towards SP17 until Pescasseroli. FROM NAPLES (Highway A1 Naples – Rome): from Naples highway A1 until Caianello exit, enter SS85 towards Venafro and then proceed on SR83 until Pescasseroli.

You can arrive by bus thanks to daily connections from Castel di Sangro and Avezzano. Check the timetable on the the website Connections by train are only until Avezzano station. For those who come from Rome it is possible to check the timetable of Prontobus company that connects Roma and Ciampino airports to Abruzzo.
